My wife has family in Canada.
They have family in Madagascar.
Yesterday, we drove the family from Canada to O'Hare to catch a plane to Madagascar.
The snow was not fun.
It took us 3 hours to drive from O'Hare back home (which is normally a 45 minute drive).
The van from Canada kind of freaked me out. The spedometer is in metric. So I was driving through town keeping up with traffic at about 35 miles per hour, and looked down at the spedometer and saw something like 60. Took a little getting used to.
They'll be back in a month. You don't go to Madagascar for the weekend, apparently.
Oh, the other thing... It costs almost $500 to Fed-Ex a package to Madagascar.
