So yesterday (Saturday 2 june) we left our hometown Enschede to head to Orlando.
leaving home at 10:00 am and well after a long long trip we arrived at Orlando Airport at 4:45 am on sunday (gmt+1)
Me thinking to be smart and renting a car would cost us an extra two hours before we where able to get into bed.
just mist the exit 1b when coming from the airport. So for those that are coming down from the airport watch out to not mis the 1b exit on the 528 north.
So well we checked in to the Residence inn hotel and had a good sleep, all ready for the first day of Teched.
Today i will not attend the precon but are attending a separate session on Groove 2007 fundamentals.
and until now i must say it is quite interesting and everything is set-up verry well.
just when you sit in the back of the room it is hard to see what is on the screen. (due to high resolution that is used.
I think the groove product is a great addition and complements the other collaboration solutions from microsoft.
especially for projects where you work together as consultants from several companies it will provide a great tool to collaborate securely.
Will post more about groove later today/tomorrow.
and of course everywhere i went today i see sign like the one below welcoming you at teched.
