Here we are endly TechEd is starting.
So i got out at 10:00 am to and went to registration at 11, as of what i heard this was a smart choice since there were long lines at the registratioon this morning.
for me it was just an matter of walking up to the desk. but wow i thought the dallas convention center was large, but this is huge.
They should provide golfcars or something to transport you all the way, i don't hope i have to go from 1 side to the other in between sessions you have to run to not miss the first part of the session.
I think Microsoft did a great job on this event. Nice location, and for sure the convention center is nicer than last year. Especially the CommNet area.
These Cabanas are a great solution and i hope a lot of people will make use of them and not only to relax. Though those couches could become a favorite object later on this week ;-)
And hey they've got healthy food this year, carrots and other healthy stuff, but ofcourse also all these nice snacks and the Softdrinks aren't in short supply.
But even the lunch today was great, last year i thought Mac Donalds was a better place for lunch than the convention center.
So let's hope this year will be better they started of great with a nice salad, chicken in lemon sauce and potatoes. At least this is what i had for lunch.
And ofcourse just like all the other areas it is Large, huge at least it should be ok for the 11000 people comming over here.
And Hey Ali Parker, you people did a nice job on promoting the Management part of teched.
a lot of busses are decorated with these nice rumble in the jungle painting and in the gaslamp district you can find the decorations with the same painting.
I guess the party will be great.
Will post later on today another post and ofcourse more pics. There will be an meeting for all the dutch guys aranged by Peter Mazereeuw. I wonder how many people will show up but well we will see. I'm also planning on attending one of the BOF sessions today guess i will go for the session "The One armed Bandit" maybe a nice start for my session on Tuesday
