Teched 2007

Last year I was wondered, by a lot of people at teched talking about how many thousands of users they supported.  Everything was bigger than I ever saw in real live in europe.

I have done in the netherlands a lot of work at several large companies, with the largest project being 4000 users and 41 locations in 1 company.

When i tried to relate my experience to that of others in the US, I realized that all these cases microsoft always talkes about are real. But issues you have when you have to handle 10.000 and more users probably won't apply to a few thousands. I was wondering and would love to have conversations with others during teched about this. How are the smaller company's handled? do they also have an good support from the professional area?
The company i work for has more SBS like customers, than 1000 + users, and last year i heard that most company's in the US of this size all handle their own it. Buy computers from dell and just follow the wizards and hoping they get a good working network. Are there any others over here that would like to discuss about how these kind of customers are handled?

Hello Kay,

You can go here: http://www.ineta.org/bof and propose this topic for its own discussion at TechEd SanDiego.

Anyone interested can vote for it and hopefully it will happen. BTW, it doesn't take many votes right now to get it approved.

Dave
