Tools I Use

I've finally bought myself an MP3 player. It's a Samsung YP-U1X. While it has only 512MB and no radio, its quite small, looks great (similar to IPod Shuffle but it has LCD with white backlight) and the sound quality is fantastic. I think its best choice for the money.

I've already listened to several episodes of ARCast and .NET Rocks! and I'm currently looking for some other podcast out there. It doesn't have to be .NET related really. So if you know anything interesting, funny or otherwise worth listening please drop me a note.

And when I'm at it: Tell me also what program you use to manage podcasts and upload them to your player.

Updated: I've finally found this great guide how to setup IPodder and WMP to synchronize podcasts with device.

Check out Diggnation (http://revision3.com/diggnation). It's pretty good.

There's a pretty good list in the comments here:

The Gillmor Gang is pretty interesting, too:

I second Diggnation. Also get CNET Buzz Out Load, Twit, Rocketboom and above all you must get Ask a Ninja.

NPR's All Songs Considered - Great resource for quality new music (mostly rock, indie and critical bellweathers)

The Polymorphic Podcast - .NET oriented. Hit-or-miss... Sometimes pretty good. He publishes irregularly.

43Folders Podcast - Another irregular poster. Not a GTD geek, but there's some funny/sensible stuff there. Plus they're quick, which has its place.

Engadget, TWiT, Buzz Out Loud - Echoing above, these are generally good "tech news" weeklys (pretty regular and good-sounding, all)

NPR: Science Friday - A science geek podcast. I listen to about 50% of these. They trend toward 20-30 minutes.

Inside the NET - A newish podcast that is basically an interview series with consumer Web 2.0 luminaries (some bigger than others).

Ricky Gervais Show (Free Edition) - This started pretty funny. If you're a fan of the BBC office you'll probably like it. It ran out of steam for me toward the end so I didn't make the jump to "subscriber" when it went pay. Anyway, there's 12 free ones to play w/.

P.S. - Fantastic posts about CAB. Try to blog more often, great stuff!

Robert,
I already listen to DNR and HanselMinutes. Carl Franklin is awesome! Promptly added Mondays to my download lists. Thanks for pointing this out.
