TiVo ToGo

I finally received the TiVo ToGo update. My first complaint: I am unable to skip commercials. When the TiVo recording is playing on my laptop the seek/forward/reverse features in Windows Media Player 10 are disabled. Annoying.

The disabled seek/forward/reverse function is due to the codec you're using with mediaplayer, although you can still use the seek bar to rewind/advance the video.

Don't beat yourself up about it though. We all make mistakes. Just get a good codec pak and you'll be fixed up. 1/27/2005 1:47 PM | AV Nut

I noticed the same problem. I am using the Tivo-recommended Intervideo dvd xpak.

Tools > Options > Performance > Restore Defaults

restored slider functionality - still no ff/rew buttons, but its a start.
