Michael Watson a Microsoft Architect and SharePoint best practices expert posted a useful link to a TechNet article on using SharePoint with Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V virtualization. Recommendations specific to SharePoint are provided, such as not to take snapshots of virtual servers that are connected to a server farm.
