Microsoft Announces Plans for July 2008 Transition for Bill Gates. Bill is transitioning out of his full time role at Microsoft to spend more time on his global health and education work at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Looks like Ray Ozzie will take over his role, this is very positive for Microsoft as new leaders will provide fresh ideas, innovation and inspiration for the company.
