64MB RAM showing as 50MB on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices

If you have bought a WM5 device with 64MB of RAM, you may wonder why the control panel on the device is showing only 50MB of RAM. This is because the control panel only shows the RAM usage that you have any control over. For more details see the Windows Mobile Team Blog posting by Mike Calligaro.
