This version of the Developer Toolbar is an updated version of Beta 1; it was updated on October 31, 2005. Several issues are resolved and some feedback has been incorporated.

New features and functionality have also been added.

Default styles (in the third pane) now appear in gray, separating them from explicit styles.
The ruler dialog is always populated with the ruler information if there is just one ruler.
The ruler dialog now describes advanced features.
"Undo all" reverts the page to the initial state.
You can now remove all outlines.

.NET Compact Framework 2.0 now available in full (non-beta) version

msmobiles.com reports on The Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 Redistributable

This redistributable enables running applications built for both .NET Compact Framework v1 and v2
This version is not embedded in the ROM of Windows Mobile devices as the version 1.0
Can be installed via ActiveSync or by running the CAB files.

To develop .NET Compact Framework applications, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SDK are required.

In order to see what version of CF is installed on a device, use File Explorer to navigate to the \Windows directory, and click the file called CGACUTIL. You will get a message box showing you the Win32 File Version of the .NET Compact Framework installed on the device.(.NET CF FAQ)
