Inside and Out... An attempt to understand technology better...
TechED 2004 India just concluded at Bangalore. We had almost 1000 attendees in the main TechED and 300-400 in the TechED Academia.

With me being responsible for Microsoft India's biggest technical event, I was a little nervous before the event started. Afterall, we had product team members of VSTS, InfoPath, MOM coming down to participate in the event, and more importantly, we had the Corporate VP for Developer Division, Mr. S. Somasegar coming to this part of the world for the keynote! This is probably the first time we had so much participation from Redmond, but it all seemed to have gone decently well.

We had 32 different breakout sessions, 10 Chalk Talk sessions across a span of two days - talked in depth about the next version of our servers and developer tools, data systems and security! In particular, I talked about the new features in the next version of the CLR - like SQL-CLR integration, Generics, Edit-and-Continue, Debugging features of VS in front of a packed hall yesterday. Today, I got to talk about ClickOnce and did Chalk Talks on CLR - they were quite interesting - with a variety of questions coming in and a good discussion forum being setup.

Tomorrow are the Hands-on-Labs for TechED - I am doing the one on Security. And on Monday, we move to Chennai for TechED :)

Hey Gaurav, I've attended your session on CLR 2.0 and I've deep insight on many things which I really didn't expect. Especially when you have spoken about Windown On Windows(WOW), I really wondered about your technicality. The way you handled the questions were really good.
Could you please provide the email ID which you have given on that session?
