IS Blogs I Read

Bob Coffield blogs his “Comments and Thoughts on Health Care Legal Issues, HIPAA Privacy & Security, Technology and Other Legal Odds and Ends” at Health Care Blog Law.

I'm especially interested in this blog because Mr. Coffield is an attorney, and I've recently begun the application and testing process for law school myself.  It's good to know that lawyers can be geeks (I mean that in the best possible way if you're reading this Mr. Coffield, so please don't sue!).

Now the question is:  can a geek become a lawyer?

The answer is "yes." In fact I think we need a few more geek lawyers. I cross over more and more on tech relates issues -- including electronic discovery, etc. Just being about to use technology in your practice is a bonus these days.

I wish you the best of luck on the law school journey. If you want to discuss career options shoot me an email. bob
