RockYou! is really nice. I created a sample slide show there, pretty much quickly. Really cool. The good thing is you can use your hi5, facebook, friendster, myspace pictures while creating slide shows.

2007: A Very Special Year!

This year 2007 was a very special day for me! Some of great events in my life happened in this year.

The first day of this year, 1st January 2007 (Monday) was the Eid-ul-Azha. It was nice to have the Eid at the first day of year, as a Muslim. But much more exciting news was waiting for me at the end of day, when I got back to home. I was just checking my mail inbox and noticed that I got the Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award from Microsoft for this year! I couldn't believe for first few moments. I then gone in details in the mail and registered few MVP related issues, and then seen a profile in Microsoft site! Well, it's true, finally I admitted, that I am now in the Elite group of Microsoft based developers. Horrey! Within few days I got a big gift box from Microsoft along with my MVP Certificate.

In the valentine's day of this year, 14th February, I felt lonely again, and was wondering when I will meet with my life long beloved, my wife, same as the past years! Each year in this special day I feel a deep emotion for my future wife and really miss her a lot. But just with in few days, it's ended. On 23rd February 2007 (Friday), I got engaged with Iffat Jahan Leuza to be get married soon! I was really feeling very shy when along with my parents, uncles we went to her home, took lots of pictures, food and fun! By younger brothers and cousins felt very excited to get a new members at our family.

After the engagement I got back to work and was waiting for the final moment of marriage! Those days till marriage, was a interesting moment with me and Leuza, feeling that we are not yet for each other but will be soon. Having interesting shyness, but we had some fun while talking! We had our first dating only once before marriage, by 4th March 2007 (Sunday), when she had exam at her university and it was too late to be finished. Well, I must take care about it, to let her safely return back to home ;) But I had flowers for her, had nice "Rickshaw" (three wheeler vehicle) journey and had a dinner!

9th March 2007 (Friday) was one of the most important day in my life. I got married with my lovely wife Leuza at her parents home! It was pretty exciting for me as usual, along with my parents and relatives. The whole day went on a fly, I felt to be in dream. When I was signing in the marriage register book, I noticed that Leuza already signed it, ah! Well after signing the marriage registered, I stood up and gave 'salam' to all in the room, according to our culture! I then got be the 'Jamai'. There were feast after then. I got a big dish along with few full chicken roast! My friends, beside me, Rashed and Sanchoy were having good value with those ;) After the feast, then the photo session started! All of the relatives were taking pictures with their new guest in our family. Had lots of fun with her.

Well, all of my relatives left me at Leuza's home, except Plato, my youngest brother was with me. I was feeling extremely shy at that moment, to be at father-in-laws home at the first day. Well, my brother-in-laws got busy to make the 'Basar'. In our culture, it's a special room, decorated with lots of flowers, where the newly married couple pass their first LOVING night. It was getting late, night was getting deep. Me, was waiting in the guest room along with 1 TON shyness.

While my brother-in-laws were preparing our 'Basar', my sister-in-laws took me on the roof of the house, and found that Leuza is also there. Ha ha. My sister-in-laws were having great fun with me, who is their new 'Dula bhai'. I could not say much! Suddenly they left me and my newly married wife alone, to have our personal time! Ah, it was one of the greatest feeling in my life. I have me wife with me! The roof was having under construction rooms. Me and Leuza were roaming on the rooms thru the mysterious dark and lights and talking. 'Whats your feeling now?', I asked. She replied 'nothing'. Well, she had lots of feelings I believe, but could not say much. I knew she can sing, so asked as before. Previously she replied she will sing only for husband. Well, now I am! Yeah! She sang a song. "Amaro porano jaha chay, tumi tai..." (You are whom I want ...). Yes, she has a very beautiful voice!

Finally the Basar decoration ended, near to the mid-night. I was caught by my brother-in-laws, at the gate of my 'Basar' room. According to rule, I have to open the gate along with monitory matters. Well I gave 5000 to all of them and then got entered! Ah, I could not explain the emotion! Me and my wife are at a room, for the first time, we can...we can...knock ... knock... my grand-mother-in-law knocked, she had lots of great advice (but unfortunately in this crucial moment!). My mother-in-law left foods of us. I had the 'Marriage Salat' after then, according to the advice of my grand-mother-in-law.

Ok, now we have our personal moments. I had my 1 GB MVP pen drive, loaded with romantic songs, she was on her bed, and I was in front of computer, loading the music. I was keeping smiling, she is also. Then I have the sit in the bed. The music was playing softly and we were talking, talking, talking... what we talked? Couldn't remember, but the night passed very swiftly. At the late night, we went to sleep, when I couldn't remember, but before that..what? Hey you don't have to know everything! Ha ha ha!

23rd April was my birthday. Of course this a special one in this year. Leuza was really missing me at her parents home, as I was in my parents home at 12.00 AM! I got late to get back from office. Well, she had a great wonder when she found me at her home at 12.30 AM! Yeah, it was a surprise for her. Well, I had a nice day with her and my parents. At the end of day, we started the journey for our lovely honeymoon, through stormy weather, to the great Cox's Bazar, which is the longest sea beach with very exciting natural beauties.

By 16th May 2007, I switched to my new work space, along with lots of excitement. New environment, opportunities and colleagues added a new dimension in my career life.

The 17th August 2007 (Friday) was my marriage ceremony, the day when Leuza get in to our home through the ceremony. 19th August 2007 (Sunday) was the marriage reception ceremony from our end.

23rd September 2007 (Sunday) was not only Leuza's birthday, it was the day when we first met 1 year ago! I was the birthday gift fro her from Allah on 2006, ha ha ha! I celebrated this day with some surprise gifts for her.

September 2007 is also a very special month for me, as me and Leuza got noticed that we are going to be parents! Inshallah, our baby will come at earth by mid of 2008.

October 2007 had the first Eid after our marriage.

December 2007 had the second Eid after our marriage and the third Eid in this year.

Hoping 2008 will be another exciting and nice year for me! Wishing best for all.

Few Enhancement Suggestions for GWB

GeeksWithBlogs is becoming on of the most popular provider in blog space. I really wish for the best for it. Recently I noticed some of the great enhancements is being implemented here, which will definitely increase it's popularity among bloggers and readers. Besides there, I have some other ideas which can be considered:

1. I wish to have the full source codes available in zip for some code related post. Definitely I would love this type of feature, to have a single place where i can share my source codes and post along with it's explanations in my posts.

2. Besides the post integration in community credit, there should support where my submitted articles in GWB will be automatically approved in community credit in article category.

3. It would also be great to be submitted my post automatically in dotnetkicks, dzone, digg etc site

4. I am a Microsoft MVP. GWB are contemplating creating a small “MVP” badge to proudly display on MVP's posts. I definitely liked this idea.

5. The popularity will be greatly increase among bloggers, where there will be a good chance to be paid for the bloggers contents (of course based on quality and popularity). Some of sites already started implementing this idea. I think GWB can do that.

6. Should have some good support about cross posting. I do noticed some of the bloggers in GWB already left to other spaces (such as blogs.asp.net, msmvps/blogs etc). Having this support will also enable the current readers to get the posts of those bloggers.

7. I do post all of my tech thoughts in GWB. But I noticed www.asp.net is not accepting my articles or posts for its daily article section, as it is published in a blog site. GWB can do something for this.

8. Windows Live Messenger has some support to chatting in web sites. It would be fine to have group chatting with the readers and bloggers.

Started using Feedburner, Twitter and Good bye to Google Ad Sence

Just started using Feedburner for my site rss, along with the integration support from GWB. It works fine! From now my Feedburner RSS URL is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/joycsharp.

Also GWB provided support for Twitter, which I have also started using. I think Twitter is going to another nice Web 2.0 feature. Nice stuff!

Also, I said good bye to Google Ad Sense, as I have seen it's not providing enough profit (0.23 USD in 30 days!) for thousands of page loads. I wonder how Google do billion dollar business with it. Anyway, that's upto Google, but i really didn't want to make by visitors waiting to load Google Ads.

5 Things About Me

Thanks to Ferdous, as he has tagged me! Here are 5 things about me.

1. Although I am writing computer programs now by profession, once upon a time, I wrote literature and news in local newspapers. My parent really didn't like it, as being a "Bengali writer" will not give me a bright future. Well, I got admitted to computer science under-grad course, where I first leaned how to use computers, by the year 2000! Primarily it was a bit confusing area for me, but very soon programming became a great choice for me, found that it is not less interesting than writing literature, lolz. Any way’s, still I have the same passion on writing literature, since it creates a wonderful world in my mind! Hoping on the coming days, I will get time to concentrate on that as well as, by going parallel with my program writing.

2. Besides programming and literature, my other favorite subjects are philosophy, psychology and space science. I believe, everybody should have own philosophy, regarding his own integrity, life style and surroundings. In my life, the best philosophy is Socrates' "Know thyself". On the other hand, Psychology is really an interesting area, where we can know how many varieties can reside in different peoples, even in one person! Space science? Huh! When I learn something related to it, I find how tiny we are and get lost in the endless universe. It's really a strange feeling.

I don't feel any interest about sports most of the time. Eventually I am not good at sports at all :D

3. Honesty and respect are two basic thumbs in relation for me. Personally, I try to be that best to my friends, relatives. I have very few friends at all, but when I find lack of honesty and respect in my friends, it really hearts me. I have suffered a lot in past for that. Any ways, recently I find that, rather continuing an un-happy relation, it is better to say "good bye". As a person, I am very emotional and my only expectation to my nearest persons is, to understand and respect my emotion.

~~I am 27, and still unmarried. Hope my best, in near future I will get a really nice wife, who will be my best friend.~~ Interestingly I got married with in 1 month of this post. My wife is Leuza. We both love each other truely and really good friend of each other.

4. Two things which change my mood better always, are music and perfume. I believe these are the gifts of god. A wonderful music or nice perfume gives me a soft touch of heaven!

5. Traveling is another favorite thing of mine, which can be thru air-plane, car, risk-shaw (a three wheeler human driven tri-cycle, which is very common in my country, Bangladesh), even though thru walking. But among those, my best ride choices are risk-shaw and rocket! Regarding place, natural beauty is my first choice however!

While traveling alone, my thoughts get spread on sky, and it's really helpful for me to think deeply to solve complex problems.
