I have started blogging on http://www.geekswithblogs.net/ around a week ago. Previously I blogged in msn space regularly about my current development experiences at http://spaces.msn.com/joycsharp. Well from the user statistics list everyday I found that only 4/5 readers are coming to my blog space and they are coming from search engines(mostly from Google). I was a bit upset to find this and tried to find a good space where I can put my technical blogs, Unfortunately in internet I could not found any good space where I can do that. About three weeks later from the developer community I was suggested to do blogging at http://www.geekswithblogs.net/, specially as I am a dedicated MS based developer. Yes, I really liked http://www.geekswithblogs.net/ as a good blogging space and found in the visitor stat report much more greater readers than the msn space, which made me glad, as my experience are being shared with the guys who has good level expertise to understand my items.
But one thing I expected, but not found in this site, is good sort of practice about commenting of the blog items. As blogging is about the concept of sharing the experience thru community, providing feedback regarding the posts really increases the scope of knowledge of the Blogger and the readers, which is a true good practice in the blogging community. I see there are lots of bloggers to blog their thoughts every day, but there are almost none to provide feedback. May be my this item will not get feedback from the readers as well as, but I hope the developer community will start at least thinking about this, as providing feedback increases the chance to grow ideas!
