An Archived Managed World This blog has moved to http://www.managed-world.com/blog

I'm happy that I can finally talk about what has been going on in my life the last couple of weeks. It is finally official.

This morning, I turned in my two weeks notice at my current employer. I was offered a position that I couldn't turn down with another company. I actually interviewed for a position at Microsoft (that's not the new company; unfortunately, I just didn't posess the right skill set for the position).

So, now with all that in the open, expect to see some more posts. More specifically, expect to see some posts about reflection on my time at RMLS, the new company I'll be working at, and my thoughts and impressions from the Microsoft interview process.

Stay tuned.....

Congrats! There are many times that I feel like leaving for a better job, but then I remember that I get paid a good salary to do next to nothing.

And don't let those guys at the new place try to use that line about how "experience" is SO important. Just go right on ahead and start rewriting everything :)

Wow! Congratulations, Jason!

Now if we can get you out to 'The West Side' for PADNUG ;). I'll be looking forward to seeing you at the PND in February, too. Should be some interesting tales afoot.

Thanks Ben, Joshua, and Rich. It should be fun. The problem space they provide solutions for is definitely a challenging one and one that I'm looking forward to working in. More updates to come on that (hopefully during my lunch break today).

Rich, I should be at the PND in February, most definitely. Hopefully my new schedule will allow me to attend the PADNUG meetings over on the west side. I know I've certainly been missing attending those.
