2 Weeks?!?!?!?
Remind me to *NEVER* go two weeks again without making a post. Sorry 'bout that y'all. Hopefully I didn't make any of you cry. If I did, go blow your snortle chubbles and their asdin portastic bling-lings and get off my back (that reminds me, anyone remember that song by George Michael with all the monkeys on all the backs?).

Radio / Back From The Abyss (for a while at least)
Well, I know it's been a while since any of you heard from me, but I'm back (at least temporarily). I'll be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks until I am able to finish up some projects and come up for air. Why this noise out of radio silence? Because of a movie I just saw. I just finished watching Radio, starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. Not only is it an incredible acting job, but I believe it is the best movie I've seen in quite a while. Now, I don't normally admit things like this, but I cried ......

Where's Jason?
Well, I am leaving for Philadelphia and I will be gone until Saturday. However, to prevent any childish behavior from happening, I will have my computer with me and will be checking both my logs and email on a normal basis. Between the plane rides and the down time in the hotel, I am hoping to get the next article or two of my Game Development series up (for those who actually care about this, I'm sorry I've been a slacker and haven't done this yet). 'Til then, my friend.... ......

An Avalon Threading Story
Hello all. I wanted to let you know that I wrote an article on the threading model in Avalon (more specifically, multithreaded UI development in Avalon vs WinForms). You can find it on my blog here. Or you can just view the new article category I started on the left, Longhorn Articles. I would like to give a quick thanks to Chris Sells for being willing to edit this article and help me get it into shape. Thanks Chris ......

TPing Google Weirdos
[Update: To get a message to him, you can use the “negation“ operator google provides. i.e., you can do a search for [To Rory: TP! -"I Blame Noone"]. Now, go TP now! You have no excuse! (Thanks Rich!)] Okay, I must admit, I'm finally inspired. Having been inspired by Rory's TPing of Chris's comments section while he is out of town, I think we all should TP Rory's referral logs from Google while he is out of town. You can find an example link here. Either follow the link and click on Rory's ......

1 in 36500

In rebuttal to Chris's statement, I would like to point out that today is 04/05/04 and also only occurs once every 36,500 days. Although not my favorite day of the century, it certainly is better than these other variations on a theme:

  • 04/04/05
  • 04/05/05
  • 05/04/04
  • 05/04/05
  • 05/05/04
  • 05/05/05

That is all, game on!
