Windows 2003 Firewall and SQL 2000 Named Instances

I was installing a real server to take the load off our single development server currently running two database instances, two web servers, and our build server. We just got a nice new server and I installed Windows 2003 R2, SQL Server 2000 with two named instances, and Subversion. I wanted to transition the databases off our primary server because the thing is just bogged down. I could not for the life of me get the build server to connect to the new DB server.
