Georgeo from MSDN Webcast just announced the ASP.NET Webcast series in October. I am extremely pumped about this event because of the amount of great presenters and presentations. This site is not active today, but you can take a look at what is to come with this query.

My session, "Designing Flexible Applications Using the Provider Model in ASP.NET 2.0", should be lots of fun. After my 2 days of Test-Driven Development in St. Louis and Kansas City with John, I plan to spend all extra time coming up with good slides and samples. Register Here. If you are interested in my topic, let me know what you would like to see in the way of samples.

Apple is opening an Apple Store in Kansas City this weekend on the Country Club Plaza. If I was still an Mac fan (notice my email account), then this would definitely be more exciting news. If and when they launch a iPod trade-in program, I will be there.

That is very cool!

After only 5 weeks of registrations, the Applied XML Developer's Conference has sold out. With 4 weeks of registrations left to go, we've gone back to the venue for extra space. It's not much extra space, though, so if you want a seat, you should register expeditiously.

Ted Roche has written an article on the FoxPro developer center about how to create RSS feeds from FoxPro. Definitely interesting seeing the creation from another system.

Here is my flight schedule for XML DevCon. If someone has a schedule close to, please comment and maybe we can schedule travel to the hotel together. I believe DonXML has a simular schedule.

Wow. This morning while checking email and getting ready for the day I see a message from Bill blinking in the corner. The message said whats your number, I have to call you. So I get a call not 5 seconds later and Bill is laughing on the other end. He points me to an Bush is the Anti-Christ site and starts talking about what it is about. For a second, I thought something was wrong with Bill because of his topic of conversation. But then he wops one on me. The creator has used a photo of me giving the Longhorn salute on the site from PDC. Check it out for yourself. I swear I am not the Anti-Christ, nor do I know who is.

After last weeks news about System.Xml 2.0, I decided to create a shirt. It's a play on Mark Fussell's quote at the PDC, "DOM is dead". If you want to support the movement, pick up a shirt and wear it at the DevCon.

Looks like ::ScottW pushed a new Default.aspx/MainFeed.aspx for From what I can tell, they got shortened display (max characters), bloggers.aspx, and the removal of the list of bloggers. I really like the new display and hope to get my hands on a quick fix soon.
