I have one of the original iPods (5gb). It is getting old and scratched up, but for a paper weight, does it really matter. This site has an excellent video
that goes over the same problem I am having, but at an extreme. I am glad I am not the only one and its good to see someone is trying to do something about it. The device was very expensive (400 at the time) and for this, it wasn't worth it!
Laura John, one of the GDN bloggers, has graciously allowed us to be in her presence. Thanks for joining Laura, it's great to have you here.
Well after lots of hard work and labor, our door is finished. Tell me what you think
If the weather is extremely bad here in Kansas, just send out a default message saying “WRECKS EVERY MILE ON EVERY ROAD
” instead of telling me every single incident in Overland Park and Olathe. Thanks!
Good morning Kansas, as a joke we decided not to clean the roads today!
With last night's freak rain/ice/snow storm, we the department of transportation safety, decided to not clean the roads. How stupid is that. Johnson County (one of the richest counties in the nation) is full of idiot drivers with SUVs ready to go. Every car but 2 I saw (probably 15-20) in the ditch, was a brand new Luxury SUV. My car, is a nice fat, rear-wheel drive machine. I made it fine, so how does your new Hummer H2 get stuck facing the median? I really do hate the kind of weather. I saw 4-5 Explorers (the safety SUV) either in ditches, facing me on the road, or in the middle of the lane completely stuck. I used to think the wheels that spin when you are at a stop were cool until I saw them on an SUV slowing down at a light. With every other SUV stuck, I thought for sure they were doomed. The moral of this story today is, if you think your vehicle is better than others in the snow, YOU'RE WRONG, just drive like everyone else, or else it will be your ass pushing your $50,000+ SUV out of the snow.
For the Sprint employees listening, they created a shirt for you
Tonight, I decided to go hunting in the front yard. The neighborhood is full of reindeer and I felt it was time to take one out. It took awhile to clean it and it wasn't very good to eat. I made a mounting plate and opened my Taxidermy 101 book. Here is the final product, I hope you like it.
The reality: Our company has a door decoration contest. I picked one of these up at Home Depot, chopped its head off, rewired it, cut out a headboard, and mounted it. Michelle helped me out with the routing and designing the headboard. Tell me if you think this will help us win.
This is pretty cool, but come on, pick some better colors than light light blue on white. The only way I can read it is to highlight the text. Maybe they should join with a web designer journal to build the site.
Today I picked up LearnRss.com and LearningRss.com. I think hope to push this with the learningxml.com project, but since it has been lacking lately with help, I will probably forge on with it by myself. We will have to see.
