In the past I would frequently use gotdotnet.com as a place to share code and find code samples. I have even used it as a open source tool with a project I created called IIsreporter (http://www.iisreporter.com) or download here (http://sourceforge.net/projects/iisreporter/).

I noticed the other day that they have updated their site with a new look and new functionality. However, when I attempted to go there today it throws an error. I have to say that I like the new look and feel of the site and wish those guys luck. Here is a copy from Google cache from their site when it was up explaining the new look and feel.

"Gotdotnet recently got a new team and new direction from Microsoft, and the new look is part of that change. We also upgraded the site to run on the new .NET Framework that is part of Visual Studio 2005, so we wanted a more visual way of letting you know good changes are happening!"

I hope that this site will keep going for years to come. It is a valuable asset to the .NET community. I know there are other sites out there that allow users to add code and share code, but this is the main location that I have used or found on the web. Do others know of any other good resources?
