that there will be no NHL this year. I really thought that the players would see that in order for the league to survive, they would have to agree to the cap. Now the owners are in the driver seat. The players had a chance at a $42 mil cap without any ties to revenues. Now if the players don't agree to the tie between salaries and revenues we'll see replacement players that will be willing to play for anything.
