We finally made it back home after 12 hours of airports and airplanes. What should have only taken about 5 or 6 hours was whacked by something in Dallas, that's all I know. Anyway I won't waste time talking about how many t-shirts I got (a few) or how many famous people I talked to (several) or how many great parties I went to (a couple) or how many drunk drummers I saw (none). Who really cares about that anyway. What I will be posting about over the next several days is what I learned, especially in topics such as security and SOA. These were the topics that I tried to concentrate on since they are both near and dear to my heart at the present time.

As a last comment, I want to thank the guy at San Diego airport that gave up his seat so that I could get on the plane with my wife and son. We were all flying standby (the issues in Dallas caused the original flights to be cancelled) and he certainly didn't have to do that. Goes to show that there are some good people left in the world.
