I just saw an ad for the next episode of 20/20. They are planning on showing the process of adopting a baby, however they are showing it from the birth mother's perspective. What ticks me off is the ad sounded like a preview for the next edition of Survivor. “Which of these couples will win the contest and get the baby”. My wife and I have been through the adoption process. I have a wonderful 6 year old son because of it. To have 20/20 make this sound like some contest to win a baby totally disgusted me. For the first time in my life I sent an email to complain. Barbara Walters, 20/20 and ABC News have just lost all of my respect. As far as I'm concerned they are using the emotions of the couples that are “competing“ for this child to gain a couple of extra rating points.
