The Osaka University website seems to be unreachable currently, but I found the link below to a bit from Discovery Channel on Repliee Q2 (The upgrade of the Q1 model). I am very impressed with her range of motion, and especially the speed at which she moves, it seems very natural.
I wonder how development is going on those electroactive polymer muscle fibers? Repliee uses compressed-air actuators.
