.net based portal sollutions

Dan Wahlin’s blogpost on using WSS also mentiones two other .net portal solutions that I had not heard of before.

DotNetNuke

RainBow Portal

I should find time to have a look at these…

I have used and continue to use DotNetNuke, I really like it. At my job we use MSAM (MetaFrame Secure Access Manager) I am new to MSAM but what I have seen and read it seems to be a neat solution, of course it does come with a price.

But for a no-cost solution I like DNN (DotNetNuke)

I wanted to add that with MSAM you can develop CDA's (Content Delivery Agents) using Visual Studio. You can also use Web Parts with MSAM.

Like I said I am new to the MSAM solution. One thing I have read is that you can download a Visual Studio add-in that is used to create CDA's. However, you need to have MSAM installed on the machine you wish to develop on. The challenge is the MSAM developer edition installs only to a server and will not install to XP. I don't like this, I don't understand why Citrix couldn't have a developers edition of MSAM install on XP.

what do you do to add flickr badge in to your portal, I copy a code from flickr, and past it to "text/html" and no picture show. I don't know what I do wrong.
