NEXT == C
I'm a hardcore Michael Crichton fan - I've read every one of his (science) fiction books. However, I must say after reading Next - "Is this the same Crichton who gave us The Andromeda Strain, Sphere, Jurassic Park and Congo?" - You've got to be kidding me. The cover of the book says "A Novel" I disagree - this isn't a Novel - Its more of a Journal which accounts for a ton of fictitious events which are very loosely coupled together as a story line. I agree with Keith Phipps of A.V Club - here's a ......

Music knows no language
I've subscribed to Yahoo! Music's Launchcast Radio - it lets me select the artists that I like played on my radio station - it then plays songs by not only these artists but also related artists (which it figures out by doing an union of my playlist and other users with matching artists) the result is absolutely great music. I've discovered quite a few artists who I've never heard of before but couldn't forget them after listening to them once. One such singer is Laura Pausini - never heard of her ......

Choices != Headaches afterall
Joel Spolsky writes on his blog about the 15 different choices a user has to power off your computer running Windows Vista - While I do agree with Joel that the power off menu could have been made a whole lot better and more accessible, however, looks like Joel missed out one more way to power off your computer - which happend to be my favourite. The 16th way to power off your computer is to - Press Windows Key + D, ALT + F4 and woot it brings up my familiar and favourite Win XP style reboot dialog. ......

Super Cool! : Videos on support.microsoft.com
support.microsoft.com was ranked the world's best support web site recently ...but wait a minute it just got a whole lot better!
