My Need for Speed Most Wanted is Toast!

The chase was so intense looks like my game couldn't handle it - darn 23 police cars immobilized but the game gave up on me - hope this doesn't keep happening, though this is the first time i've seen it since yesterday.

i have the same problem, and nut just onece ... i dont know what to do... is there a patch or something to fix this error, this is a programing error ... so ... pls help me out

I got this error as well 2 times now and I have the full version of the game, I was in the middle of a heat level 4 chase when it happened. Both times were during a intense chase here as well

Me too... during a massive level 5 chase... seems to be a re occuring problem... hopefully there will be a patch soon.

Lowering the res doesn't work it still crashes just less often. always during a police chase of course and seems to crash more in the bmw.

Wow, I was in a level 5 chase too and.....the crash.F**K !!!! I lost 1300000 (Bounty). Hey Monk the BMW Sucks and you can't fix it.
At least I know it's the game now. ( I have DVD version and 4 cd version, it happened with both )

I hope they get a decent patch for fixing it...

Really sux.. every time I get a long chase it happens now... doesn't seem to always be related to high amount of cop cars tho because this last time I had just entered cooldown but was still running to get out of there.

Had just one or two cops on my tail... only thing that seems to be a constant is it happens when approaching milestone for time.. And it is extremely #@(%& lame. Literally can not get to second place on blacklist because of it - bet I have 4-5 hours in chases that all lockup right before milestone.
