RAP! | Reinforcing My View of Fast Food

After blogging about my idea for RAP! yesterday, an event to strike terror into the hearts of fast food industry workers everywhere, I ventured to the local Taco Bell tonight for 4 crunchy tacos and a water.  Little did I know when I got in their concrete barriered  drive-thru of eternity that I would wait in line for 35 minutes to get some freakin' tacos.  Again, there were no natural disasters going down, no terrorist attacks occuring, no second coming of the Lord, nothing.

I watched as the line of 13 cars dwindled to 5 (lucky me, I was already stuck in their little lane that didn't allow you to exit once you've got past the drive-thru event horizon) and re-grow to 15.  Something needs to be done!  Everybody, get together a mob of people and go shut down your favorite local fast food joint by patronizing them with your business.  Make them aware of how unable they are to handle more than 5 people at a time.  Videotape the joy you get out of watching them frantically scurry around!

# re: RAP! | Reinforcing My View of Fast Food

This is another reason why I eat my food at home these days...I can make myself something in half an hour that tastes far better than half the garbage they are serving. I deal with less people who have an IQ of 12 or under. The word "Fast Food" is a complete lie. What I find even more ridiculous is there addition of extra windows and speakers to verify that your order is correct. It just adds more time and they never get the order right now matter what. 4/29/2008 4:14 PM | Becky Isserman
