A friend online alerted me to this article http://www.themoscowtimes.c... A lot can be derived from it and I won't go into much of it other than the retardation that can be categorized by elected officials. To launch a Minuteman in those days, one had to "unlock" the missile by dialing in a code -- the equivalent of a safety catch on a handgun. However, Blair reports, the U.S. Strategic Air Command was worried that a bunch of sissy safety features might slow things down. ......

This is another Christian/religious post. It's written for my benefit only but if you get something out of it, good. I'm going to start using descriptions to mask the long content rather than try to keep the Christian posts separate. It's way too much work to do all of the stuff I was doing, so hopefully I won't piss anyone off by doing it this way.

This post is probably going to be funny to some of you and disturbing to others. Viewer discretion is advised...

It's been close to 72 hours since I've last eaten. I've been surviving off 1-2 glasses of Jarritos a day plus a good bit of Fruit Punch. I suppose the juice actually has some 'specks' of food in it but it's not food per say. The funny thing is that when I went on a week long fast for spiritual reasons, my stomach was giving me all sorts of hell. I would only eat 1 meal a day and only after sundown. The first day was torture, so by day 7 my body was slapping me around like a red-headed stepchild. ......

I love my parents (my dad and step mom) but just some of the things they do have me questioning their sanity. We have a toy poodle, who's name is Jake. He's pretty spoiled and has a huge Napoleonic complex. He's the size of a large cat yet he apparently thinks he's the size of a house with the way he barks or acts. What's funny is my parents speak to Jake as if he has a mastery of the English language equivalent to about a 5th grade reading level. He understands the word Jake quite well but I don't ......

I love blogs, I really do. I found this person's site from a comment they wrote in one of my posts. Thank you Rob because I needed to laugh this hard. His site is http://throbs.net/ and apparently he and possibly a bunch of other people have a lot of time on their hands. This is very good for me because I get to see their wonderful works of art. The home page is a little strange but it's really cool. Click on the fun links at the bottom, basically the little buttons at the bottom. I'm not used to ......

I have some issues when I post on here. Mainly the problem is I write very long entries. I'm sorry but I guess I'm trying to work out something from childhood, or maybe I'd make a good lawyer. Then again I completely hate legalease and reading a 5 page printed EULA full of jargon no 'normal' person can understand (normal meaning someone OTHER than lawyers). [Who do these people write these things for anyways? Only lawyers seem to understand them] Anyways I wasn't going to get into my problems with ......

http://www.congress.org/con... Why is this a huge deal? For me I don't believe in killing. I don't have a justification for murder or death of any kind as a Christian. I don't even believe in capital punishment but man can make laws and I will abide by them. I've played a number of first person shooter video games. I guess that makes good training but playing them I've realized one important fact: If I were ever in any combat situation ......

I started a series of posts I'm placing in the Christ category. I will not syndicate these posts or put them anywhere on the main site. Why? I don't want to feel like I'm forcing you to read it. This way, you can enact free will and choose to read it for yourself. It's not much but it's a start that I plan on keeping up with. I've been brewing over these ideas for a while, so be sure that I'll produce a lot more when time permits. If you would like to read the premise as well as the 1st installment, ......

I originally thought this idea might be a form of blasphemy. I mean who really needs someone to give them a basic understanding of the Bible in terms they can understand? Anyone can come up with these analogies and fit them into their own profession, so I'm not really doing anything spectacular or new. I just happen to think that the reason the 1st century church was so impactive is that they told the Gospel in terms that people understood. If they were talking to a lawyer, they spoke in terms the ......

I've had this plaguing question that resonates with me. I don't remember when I first became aware of it, only that I continue to ask myself the question on a daily basis: What were the 1st century church doing differently than we are now? Their techniques were far different than ours are now. If you don't think so then you need to reread the Gospels and Acts. It's obviously clear that something was different then. It could be the fact that the Romans held power and controlled practically everything ......

I have a dream about Operating System progression. It’s that instead of working against each other, the major OS developers come together to form this Super OS. This OS will have AI and it’ll combine all of the good things of each OS into a ‘core’ of some of what I call necessary services. No one company will own this ‘core’, it will belong to the community. End Users can choose to use this core OS for free. It’ll be severely stripped down but it will be ......

I posted an article on my idea for the Operating System of the future. These ideas are my own, at least the way things will be represented. I realize I'm not some great inventor or original thinker. My ideas will draw from many important concepts in Operating Systems now as well as my vision for what Operating Systems should really encompass. I realize my ideas may be ahead of my time, but I'll have literally years to work them out if I happen to be doing this all by myself. Linus didn't crank out ......

A friend of mine turned me on to this fruit flavored goodness from our neighbors to the south. He explained why this drink is so good and why it's totally different from all other soft drinks. This drink uses sugar instead of corn syrup to sweeten it. He had a big bottle of Grapefruit. I personally don't like grapefruit anything but I tasted the drink to see if I may enjoy it, mainly to humor him. For a grapefruit flavored anything, I actually enjoyed it. The difference between using sugar and corn ......

This was a comment on my previous domain hijacking post. I felt it should be in it's own post to basically prove my point that there are companies existing solely for the purpose of taking domains and keeping them. MUSICMADE4U.COM I got the same nonsense where we paid renewal on time with cc thru paypal and then no answer from "REGISTERMY.COM (RESELLERS FOR ADVANCEDMINDS.COM) which supposedly both merged and now show a Jmoore@registermy.com who does not return emails or I get bouncebacks. The phone#877-818-2595 ......

My original intent with some of this blog was to post about ideas I've had regarding software. Since I planned on hopefully making money with it, I thought I would copyright things. I'm stupid when it comes to copyright and personally I don't care any more. The more I think about it, the more I'm against the whole idea. I'm against the idea of intellectual property. Yeah I said it. I'm against patenting an idea and claiming it original. Not many ideas in this world are truly original. I'd be willing ......

“I don't think I want to pay bills either.” One of the greatest lines from one of my favorite movies of all time (if not the favorite) Office Space. The movie is brilliantly done and my anthem for the American work force. Sure I may still drudge through work normally, but I can dream of days where I just don't go into work because I “don't feel like it”. Sadly there is one aspect of the movie that I face on a daily basis: The TPS report incident. If you don't know what I'm ......

There's very strong and seemingly good reasons why I don't support the news or media in any fashion. Sure it's important to stay up to speed on current events but there's way too many slants in pretty much all media coverage. People have given me crap about not trusting or keeping up with news but there are some very good reasons why I generally dislike news of all forms. I do get a daily dose of news, usually from www.msn.com since I use hotmail pretty regularly. I don't take the time to read up ......

This wasn't a hacking. Sure due to my lame 'admin everything' approach I had been infected with spy-ware. Some 2000 or so quarantined files and being infected daily really didn't force me to reformat. So what was it? User Error. Some smart person placed in a Wise Installer the command “Create C:\Program Files\” as well as “Create C:\Documents and Settings\Username\StartMenu... I don't know if this was intentional as some 'fix' for some really funky install problem but this ......

The topic seems a little harsh about what I'm discussing, but that's in effect what is trying to take place. My dad purchased a domain for a bishop friend of the family (and our church). You may not like Christianity or the website but the problem we're facing can happen to ANYONE. This domain is up for renewal August of this year. My dad got a bill for the domain in the mail. He's the type of person that when he gets a bill, he tends to just send in money. This bill should have been a no-brainer ......
