Checking for .NET 3.5 SP1 in an MSI
While troubleshooting some recent problems with an application requiring .NET 3.5 SP1, it was determined the installation was not correctly testing for the Service Pack, only .NET 3.5. After a little research on the issue, I found in the .NET Framework forums there is an issue where the .NET Framework Launch Condition does not have the ability to check for Service Pack levels. Frederick .NET User Group August Meeting
The next Frederick .NET User Group (FredNUG) meeting will be Wednesday, August 26th at the Urbana Regional Library. At the meeting, we’ll recap the previous meeting’s bot bash code challenge. Since the last meeting, several members have begun improving their bots. Frederick .NET User Group July Meeting – It’s Bot Bash Time!
The next Frederick .NET User Group (FredNUG) meeting will be Wednesday, July 22nd at the Urbana Regional Library. At the meeting, we’ll be mixing things up a bit.
