This weekend at NoVa Code Camp 2009.1, I presented my inaugural talk on Utilizing the Mesh and Live Framework. Presenting a new topic the first time can always be a little interesting because of the various factors involved. Will the sample demos work? Are the number of slides correct for getting the key points addressed without putting the attendees to sleep? Fortunately, the talk seemed to go very well (at least that was the immediate feedback)! I was also pleased to see the amount of interest expressed by the attendees who filled the room. The slide deck and sample demos can be found here.
Though the talk concentrated on how to go about getting started with the Mesh and Live Framework and its benefits, I mentioned during the talk that I would post a few links to some of the helpful hints that I discussed during the session:
Given the enthusiasm expressed by the attendees in my session, I’ll be starting to work on my next Live Framework talk which will be concentrating on implementation.
