Frederick .NET User Group April Meeting

The Frederick .NET User Group (FredNUG) will have its next meeting on April 22nd at the Urbana Regional Library.  This month we have some fun topics that look to be a bit different than those in past meetings.  The scheduled agenda is:

  • 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Intro Topic:  SQL Server Performance with Jeremy Kadlec
  • 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM - Main Topic:  Coding for Fun and Profit with Jeff Schoolcraft

Main Topic Description: A casual show and tell–with audience participation of course–of fun ways to keep your edge (and sanity). The happy side effect is you’re learning and hopefully becoming more marketable to your current employer or getting enough sparks to ignite the fire and be your own boss. This isn’t a technical session, per se, but bring your laptops and be ready to code.

Speaker Bio: Jeff Schoolcraft is the founder of The Queue, Incorporated; a consulting shop that writes software and helps write software better.  He has been in the .NET space from nearly the beginning and is still, occasionally, writing web applications in C#.  Though more and more of his time is spent in the arms of another language, ruby.  He tries to organize a couple Code Camps a year and is hoping to find a developer community that isn’t over an hour away.  When he’s not immersed in code he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Please come and join us and get involved in our .NET developers community!
