Where is W.A.S 1.0?

As with our email addresses and more importantly, when we change email addresses, those email addresses are dead and then spring back up after a while being used by someone else. What about weblogs? Where is the W.eblog A.rchival S.ystem 1.0? I searched and couldn't find anything available archiving active weblogs. Surely, Microsoft will start removing dead blog feeds at some point form the MSDN and ASP.NET weblog sites. The turnover is indeed great for private individuals who are hosting their own blogs. I am subscribed to about 400 weblogs, of which I daily (try to) read about 35, and 70 weekly, and the other 300 about once a month. When I read a blog, I look for 'last post' entries and try to keep my blogroll active and accurate. Today was my monthly review and I had to change 11 addresses (I neglected to do so last month). So, when I change the address, I effectively can no longer find the entries from the previous weblog. Why isn't someone archiving these? It would be much easier to do with weblogs than web pages since blog posts are delivered in a table row-like method. Perhaps my technique is wrong but I can't believe that no one is doing this all ready.
