OH MY GOSH!!!

After Julie's public criticism of me, I decided to change the context of this message. If John can keep this group from falling back into a state of disarray, I will be his best friend.

I opened my email yesterday and what should appear but a message from my local .NET User Group! Hallelujah! Anywhoooo, here is the guts of the message:

Good afternoon, I just spoke to Geoff Snowman the Microsoft developer community champion, based in Maryland. Geoff is the presenter for the MSDN event at Regal - Knoxville Center on the 18th of this month. Geoff asked that I send a special invitation to all the user group members. You can read more about (or register) the MSDN event at http://msevents.microsoft.com/cui/EventDetail.aspx?culture=en-US&EventID=1032258598. Also, Geoff will host the East TN .Net User Groups first "pub club" following the event at Don Pablo's (also at the mall). So, put November 18th on your calendar. Please help us build a strong user group by forwarding this email to your peers, friends, and enemies. We will have an ETNUG table at the event and flyers for our group distributed.

Thank you, John Gargis

Gravatar Jason-That's pretty harsh, since John has just done a lot of work to try to help this user group get back on its feet. Why not help him out rather than spoon out the public criticism? 11/4/2004 7:11 PM | Julie Lerman

Gravatar I am sure he has done a lot of work and I have offered to help. 11/5/2004 6:26 AM | Jason Bentley
