Enterprises Prefer One-Time Licensing Fees
This is not a big suprise but 64% of purchasers prefer one-time license fees (the old way of doing things). Is anyone suprised by this? I understand why software companies want to do this, software development is not cheap, but as a consumer, I would be unwilling to shell out the cash every year. I do, however, pay for MSDN. That, however, has unlimited cost-to-value potential.
