The 49ers

Well, for the 1st time since 1977 the 49ers were shut out. I am a life-long fan of the 49ers and to see them in this state is so sad for me. With a history that includes Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Steve Young, Terrell Owens, and on and on and on, an owner that puts such drastic cost cutting measures in effect to the point that the entire franchise is a standing joke is just ridiculous. I knew things were going downhill when Mooch was fired after his first playoff win. And now we have Dennis Erickson, who has a proven history of not accomplishing crap in the NFL! If owner John York could not afford to keep the team at the current level why did he purchase them? The 49ers are ranked in the top 50 for all professional sports teams in terms of value according to Forbes that stock will slip below 100 quickly. I am just a frustrated fan but I would love to see York ran out of town, Debartolo back in the owner's box full time and Walsh on the sidelines. That would drive this team back to the Super Bowl!
