Nintendo Roms
Is it illegal to play Nintendo roms that I still own for the regular Nintendo? I have Tecmo Super Bowl, Mike Tyson's Punchout, and Final Fantasy I and I love them all. Does anyone know?

re: Nintendo Roms
Actually it is illegal to have a copy of it on your computer. I read something today about it from, I believe it was, nintendos website. They consider it Piracy no matter what and a violation of their copyright laws. if you do not believe it Here is the link:
http://www.nintendo.com/corp/faqs/legal.html
Look under Can I Download a Nintendo ROM from the Internet if I Already Own the Authentic Game?
As well as How Does Nintendo Feel About the Emergence of Video Game Emulators, and People Making Nintendo Emulators and Nintendo ROMs are Helping Publishers by Making Old Games Available that are No Longer Being Sold by the Copyright Owner. This Does Not Hurt Anyone and Allows Gamers to Play Old Favorites. What's the Problem?
I actually ran across this today. I always thought it was okay to download the rom. Come to find out Nintendo says Uh Uh. Its illegal.
