Soma has announced that we will be extending the Beta period of Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4. We will be adding a Release Candidate with a broad “go live” license, which will be publicly available in the February 2010 timeframe.

Whilst I would love to have Visual Studio 2010 RTM yesterday, I am really pleased to see that we are taking decisions that publicly demonstrate that we are quality lead on this release. I want Visual Studio 2010 to be as near to perfect on release as we can. I want every element of .NET 4 to be rocking.  I’m sure it will be! (Quickly strokes rabbits foot).
