The advantage of being in the software industry is that you have
friends all over the world, and get to travel a lot.
At least that's how it is for me, and i enjoy that very much.
Last week, when i visited Transsylvania, the region in Romania where
Dracula supposedly lived, one of my first remarks was that traffic is
killing there.
This soon became painfully true.
I was in Romania to visit a friend and business partner. On friday
evening we were going to meet some of his friends.
But with this kind of roads and traffic, you never know who will make
it or not.
One of them, a taxi driver, didn't. He had an accident a few hours
before we were going to meet him.
He was decapitated when a truck hit his car.
As i could see in the newspaper the next day, there was not much left
of the car.
A terrible tragedy.
