So, everywhere you look, people are blogging. Why not me?
Mostly because I don't have much to say unless I know a lot about something. Seeing as I don't kow alot about anything but a little about a lot, I may not be that interesting.
I have my hand into programming and networking but I am concentrating most of my time on programming now. Why? Because it is so much more fun and challenging. It makes me think. It makes me work hard at things that don't come easy to me. All you programmers out there who came into the field by way of Bachelor of Science degrees, I envy you! You have a good footing in the basics. I'm self taught and as a result, I struggle with certain things.
I am on the path to rectification however. I have signed up for and started a course from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada. The course is University Certificate in Computing and Information Systems. A 33 credit course that covers things such as Data Strucutres and Computer Programming with Java. Ugh!! I'm a VB.NET developer but oh well.
Then, as soon as I have succeeded in making all kinds of money from my current employer, I will switch that course to the BSc in CIS.
So much for my opening blog. Didn't mean to bore you but there it is.
