The problem is that Ubuntu starts with the color depth to 24-bits per pixel, which is not supported by Virtual PC 2004 and Virtual PC 2007, therefore some manual steps need to be taken before being able to install and configure Ubuntu in Virtual PC. Virtual PC 2007 will propably not be available before March 2007. The Beta program for which you can opt-in through the Microsoft Connect web site will start on October 11th 2006 and will end on March 2007. I was really hoping to having Virtual PC 2007 begin 2007 I guess we would have to wait until Q2 of 2007. Cross-posted from The .NET Aficionado
