Doesn’t it just blow you away how companies expect their campaigns against net neutrality to actually influence the viewer to vote against it? What I mean to say is this: The entire 45 seconds that the TV commercial was on said only one thing to me: Let us throw away our freedom of speech and artistic expression across the internet, along with any and all idea’s of ours that may have a slight chance of blossoming into successful businesses; in which America just happens to be dry of at the moment. Businesses can only HELP our economy, but unfortunately we have SOME jerk companies out there attempting to hinder this. I can ramble on all day about the crimes of large companies attempting monopoly, but I feel I should stay to my subject.
Every day I surf the net, there is always something out there that either inspires me, or otherwise interests me into finding more of its type. Whether if it’s text, art, or any other expression, it deserves to be on the internet. Lets face it, for quite a few of us, the Internet is a great source of viewing the world and the many different minds that live there. It is also a great place to express ourselves and have an equal chance of it being viewed by hundreds of other web-surfers. Expression should always be apart of our lives, and that is what the Internet is basically for! To take away net neutrality is to strip the Internet of its purpose and anyone’s purpose for being there!
