We need to manage all of the Textures that will be used. Alot of the textures will be used more than once so it would be nice not having to waste the time to reload them all the time. Here's my first attempt at a very basic Texture Manager. Mesh Loading. You can't have a game without it, or at least a decent looking one. Here is my initial thoughts for an idea of handling it. Large Version Now here are two classes that will be implemented into the Adean engine. A Mesh Loader class and a Mesh Holder class. First of all, there's a string saying where the mesh is located, that will be sent to the Loader method within the Mesh Loader. First thing to take a look at, considering it's a large portion of the game, is the menu system. Here is a quick idea of how the menu system will work itself out. Large Version Now what you're seeing here is the basic idea of the menu. The numbers 1 through 5 are individual menu items which make up the entire menu. Here are my first sketchings of ideas. (Yes my coding is better than my drawing capablities) Large Version Ok, what you see here is a bunch of muddled thoughts. Yep. So, I've decided to join in on the rat race of the GWB game programming contest. Now this oughta be fun ;) First of all, I'm Garrett Hoofman. I've been playing around with Managed DirectX off and on for the last year or so and I've been fiddling with alot of stuff dealing with C# for about 2 years.
