Cheers man, i've been wanting to know how to be a vampire, i'm off to suck necks.

Hey im a vampire on oblivion i just want to know if anyone knows anything about some kind of vampire guild or somet. Ive noticed the little bits of writin that comes up when you sleep and in one of them it mentions somthin about completn a task for an elder vampire...it also had that on morrowind ??? is there some kind of vampire guild? i want to talk to other vamps :>

This is my second time round in Oblivion, this time chose a class more suited to the way I play, Sneaky and Magical *smile* Primarily Mages Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Thieves Guild. Lends well to the whole Vampire thing. The Fighters guild quests are kinda boring and monotonous, and the end quest, sucks to high heaven. This time round I think I am going to assassinate all the main players of the final quest *laugh*

Ups of being a Vampire. Massive boosts in Stats for low levelers, Down side…. That damn sun! Has anyone come across a magical amulet or ring that would negate sun damage? I really don’t care if NPC Speak to me or not, every once in a while I feed and go on a shopping/selling spree.

Vampire fighting tip: Keep cranking on your sneak and main weapon, go into sneak mode, Turn invisible, ready a shock or fireball spell, and wham! Hit for 6X Sneak attack, if that does not kill them finish them with a fireball! Easy kills.

To RicksteR, nah sorry mate, no guild for Vampires, damn fine idea for a future rev though!

Closest thing is the Dark Brotherhood, but even they will get all “Get away from me” When you are 100% Vamp. And they revel in blood orgies and killing, wussies *grin*

Other Vamps to talk to, there is one in the Dark Brotherhood Chedinal hideout, the Count of Skingrad, and a few others I can’t really tell you it might spoil a quest or two.

Oh and Rickster! If you do the cure for vampirism quest, you get a cure for yourself, go put it away I accidentally drank it during combat, overburdened myself, and got my a** handed to me *laugh* Becareful have fun!

One cool interaction between vampires and the dark brotherhood : When you are the leader of the Dark Brotherhood, you can have a murderer follow you around and fight for you. Its a very nice char, that can sneak and turn invisible! Anyway, if you have the Murderer following you, and then feed on someone, he watches you. Normally people get mad if they see you feed, and will attack you. The Murderer says "Hehehe This is going to be good!"

A nice little touch.

I like the vampire powers - night vision and the charm spell are great but it's starting to piss me off a bit burning in sunlight.

hello folks... i am huge oblivion fan from slovenija and it does the same crap to me when i accepted the dark gift from that vamp dude in the dark brotherhood. i had the TGM on....tgm is god mode. so now i am not a vampire!!!! it sucks. how can i be a vampire now on that character. i know you will say go seek for a vampire nest but i cant find even one! i was searching and killing those dumb goblins in dungeons but i didnt find any vaps. please tell me some location of the vamp nest so that i can be a hunter of the night to :D

i was always a fan of lizards so i took an argonian but they are resistant to diseases (like vampirism), is it still able to become a vamp when u fight the vamps while ur argonian? or do u always need to take the dark gift as an argonian?

i want to be a vampire, accepted the dark gift, i waited 72 hours, then i sleep, nothing happens! My brother played before me and he used god mode! So i had accidentaly god mode when i accepted the dark gift? what i do now?
please help!

Hey nooo! (funny name), I think you first have to open the console (press the ~ key next to the 1 to open and close the console) then type tgm to toggle god-mode, head to vincente and you should be able to ask for the dark gift

Well the quest I did was the Lost Histories story arch. This is where you're following the missions/quests from Grey Fox himself. Heh, I was just trying to get that damn cowl thinking it would give me the ability to glide, clime walls, or turn invisible (since I chose the Thief as my diety) Anywho at the end of the story arch I wandered to Skingrad and took a nap, then the message popped up informing me I was now a vampire. At first I thought it was an event for that particular inn but seeing as how stealing the elder scroll required me to kill vampires early on... I guess it was just the time limit thing. Either way, I'm haveing hella fun. Got my argonian Thief his cowl, he's got a black robe and cool looking boots that boost some skills.

The only downside is I was a black and red leezard and now I'm all pink and white... it's jsut weird.

Hi! I also had the same problem as yep..me and nooo!. I was not using god mode but I have killed Vincente before (purification quest) and then used console "resurrect" to revive him. Then I accepted the dark gift and this problem occured. I loaded this game, when Vincente was still alive - if only a vampire can be alive ;]- and then accepted the dark gift again and it worked. So in my opinion the best solution is to try again. Now I am a happy vampire have bitten every "red"neck in province (red because of blood ;] )

And maybe important i thata the second time I slept and waited in this stone-bed where Vincent usually sleeps.

And one more thing: In his desk there is his note to Ocheeva, which contains some information about garlick.

i like being a vampy but the time goes fast and i dont want ta be biting necks every 5 min especially when i have to go huge distances and i keep getting burnt... so im trying to find that dam cure and it when i finally thought i got it i found out i had to find 5 grand soul gems of something like that...were on earth do u find em?

I got the vamp desease a few days ago, so I remember, and I have the new powers but I'm sure I haven't had the chance to feed yet. I haven't been given the option - lord knows how many pockets of sleeping people I have picked. I've had the wierd dream too. Do I have to wait longer, or should I keep trying to feed. I don't have a problem with feeding, cos I'll rob all thier gear while I'm at it. :-) Not sure weather the vamp thing is for me, but maybe it is cos i liked the sneaky killing and robbing people thing. :-)

For "just me" - If I remember right, the grand soul gems can be found in at least one of the mage guild houses (can't remember which one I robbed 5 from), but they maybe in all of them. I do remember them being in a display case in the main entrance to one of the houses.

So, is feeding that muctch of a pain in the neck?? :-) Oh, how often do I need to feed to be able to walk in the day light?? Cheers.

Hey guys. Info on the vamp thing, i have Oblivion for the 360, dont know how different it is but in order to get the disease u gota either let a vamp woop ur butt and survive, or let Vincent give u the gift (u can sleep anywhere in the sanctuary) Theres no vamp guild and u can find PLENTY of Grand Soul Gems at higher lvls, like high 20's so just be patient.

Hey guys, I'm just starting Oblivion and the vampire life sounds really cool MUHAHAHAHA!. I read some of the posts and the bottom line is this:
You can't become a vampire in god mode (sucks play a game using the damn cheat anyway)
If you feed once a day the sun will be no problem at all when you travel.

the easy way to get vampirism is to attack the count of skingrad. let him wail on you, and before long youll be infected.

I have been a vampire for nai on 80days, only played the game total of about 86, it is cool being a vampire, though when you have to spend majority of daytimes waiting it gets a little tedious.

tip for money when you have given the Count the cure, keep asking him about reward apparently he keeps giving it to you. Not sure as haven't done this yet, you can become a vampire also by sleeping in church basements, at least after i slept in one i woke up and it told me was a vampire, and i didnt fight any before i went to sleep there. Though tried this with my friends character and it didn't seem to work, so it may be random.

Does anyone know if you stay as a vampire for a stupidly long time if powers go abover level four? i am tempted to leave it and see but cant do anything like buy or sell or daylight stuff in mean time.

I played Morrowind and in it when you become a vampire you can do vampire quests. Well I accidently became a vampire before I was ready and i don't have the game guide yet. Are there different types of vampires like in Morrowind and can I find the head of one so I can do quests for him/her? (vampire quests is where you get all the good stuff... at least in morrowind it was)

i just picked the game up about a week ago for the computer and i noticed when i became a vampire the game got kinda glitchy. like when i talk to some one or swing my sword it takes a longer time like a delayed reaction i guess i just wanted to know if its normal for it to lagg like it did or if it might just be my computer

If you want to become a vamp, go in the sewers in the main city and there are several vamps in there. I was killing them the first night I played. I didn't even know I was infected. At first I hated it, and though I was going to have to start over. THen I started liking it and decided to stay that way. Good to know how it works though, as I was just beginning to understand how it worked by experiences.

Whenever i put on my DB Shrouded Hood, i my head sticks out thru the fabric!!!! I have sides of my bald head poking thru... But im not bald though! i take it off, and the BALD ORB is my hair. WHY IS THIS HAPPENNING??!??!

my m8 become a vampire and i told him 2 feed so he can go in the light and he wanted 2 find the cure so he feed and bought everthing in the shops exept the vampire dust and u can find da garlic in the inns there r tons of inns in the imperial city hope this helped

I've got a problem becoming a vampire! I accepted the dark gift from vincent, and I went about my days doing quests and such, and 3 days later I don't turn after I sleep. But I load my savegame just after I was infected, then wait, I turn. I don't have godmode turned on or anything, and I've played for about 5 hours after being infected and seriously dont want to go back.

Any tips on on how to get the disease to kick in? Or did me once using a cure disease potion muck it up?

for anyone who asked is there vamp guilds no there isn't.U also cant become a vamp with god mode on .and i guess dark elves would be the best but its up to u.

A simple way to counter act the sunlight thing is to wear a hood and robe. just kill a priest or summit and steal his clothes!!!

Hi i've killed Vicente lol. Completed Dark Brotherhood quests and now i dno how to become a vampire. i noticed that when trying to contract the disease, that as i am a woodelve i have a high resistance to disease. is there any way to lower my resist disease and contract the vampire curse?????? plz help!!!!!

how long dus it take to make the vampire cure

I talked to the DB Vampire after I finished the Assasinated Man Quest. He offered and I accepted. I slept in the DB Sanctuary fir 24 hours, 3 times in a row, and it worked. Slept more after that, and became more powerful. It works guys, but for him to bite you, you gotta sleep in the DB Sanctuary the first few nights.

Yo son, My guy is level 78 and im a master of all magics and blade and marksman and sneak, it only took me 50 hours, the secret is to be a gangsta and spend lots of time in jail so thaat ur skills go down and you can level up again, my guy is an imperial, so id pwn you in a fight if the game was online, on xbox 360 anyway, on computer you can use cheatas to raise your level and stats.

Hey sons ill let you in on a secret. if you want to be a vampire at level 4 get lots of reflect damage enchantments to your armor and the sun damage will be reflected. hahahahah im such a candian, im surprised you guys didn't figure this out already!

Yes, indeed, you can become a vampire in Oblivion. There are advantages and
disadvantages to becoming a vampire. To become a vampire, you must first get
the disease "porphyric hemophilia". Three days after getting the disease, when
you sleep, you turn into a vampire. You normally get the disease during fights
with vampires. You can also willingly receive the disease during the Dark
Brotherhood quests, just talk to Vincente Valtieri (before you get special
orders from Lucien Lachance).

You can stop the change to vampire by curing your porphyric hemophilia. Any
normal method of curing disease works: potion, spell or Activating an altar in
one of the Great Chapels in a city. You can greatly reduce the chance of
getting porphyric hemophilia by engaging vampires at range. They can't infect
you unless they use melee attacks against you.

Once you are a vampire, there are four stages of vampirism: 25% vampire, 50%
vampire, 75% vampire and 100% vampire. You begin at 25% (stage 1) vampire.
Every few days, if you don't drink any "human" (human in this case includes
Elves, Argonians and Khajiit) blood, you move to the next stage of vampirism
if you rest (Wait) or sleep.

Drinking human blood moves you back to stage 1 (25%) vampirism. You drink
blood by finding a sleeping NPC and Activating the NPC. You'll be asked if you
want to feed. Feeding on an NPC doesn't wake and doesn't harm the character.
You can feed on beggars, your maid in Skingrad (if you're rich), fellow Guild
members or even the Countess of Anvil (if you can break into the castle).
Don't feed where any awake characters can see you, or they will raise an
alarm.

During each stage of vampirism your appearance changes. At stage 4 vampirism,
your "condition" has become so noticeable most NPCs won't talk to you. You
can't shop, get quests or anything else. You can use the Vampire's Seduction
power to increase the target's Disposition so you can talk to the person. You
can also use standard Charm spells, scrolls or the Imperial race's Voice of
the Emperor power.

Beginning with Stage 2 vampirism, you can't Fast Travel during the day. You
can Fast Travel at night, but you'll need to make short hops. On foot, Fast
Traveling from Cheydinhal to Anvil takes 11 hours; if you have a fast horse,
you can cut that to 5 hours. So, on horseback, you can Fast Travel clear
across Cyrodiil in one night; on foot you'll only be able to travel about
halfway across the country.

By Stage 4 vampirism, being outside during the day will require that you run
along with a healing spell ready, casting almost constantly. You will not want
to stop and fight in this condition, so traveling through the wilderness
during the day can be quite dangerous. Keep an eye on the clock (shown on the
map/quest screens of your journal and on the Wait menu) and don't go outside
during the day. If you've been spelunking, stay in the dungeon until nightfall
(which the game defines as 8pm), and then you can Fast Travel to the nearest
city. Wait in an Inn until daylight, then sprint for the stores to sell off
your loot. Or if you are Canadian like me, You will get lots of sigil stones with reflect damage enchantments. Do this at level 25+.

No........ Its called being clever, and canadian, You put reflect damage enchantments on yur armor, and you can run free

I'm talkin bout Oblivion on 360, so I have no cheats at all, and i just got a patch so I can never do the dupe glitch again, and what sucks is I cant use the delete patches code because ive downloaded the expansion packs, and I need the patches for them to work, And by the wa, for all you people out there who have a 360, if you get a patch for something you dont want, go to the system blade, choose memory, and on that screen press Y and when you are in the screen press Lb, Lb, X, Rb, Rb, if that doesnt work it is Rb, Rb, X, Lb, Lb, and if that doesnt work figure it out your slef it is a combination of two bumpers, then X then two bumpers, and when it says this will restore or clean your hardrive say yes, it will notdelete your saves, it just deletes the patches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only ways to become a vampire is to volunteer to be bittin by the geeza in the dark brotherhood or fight vampires in caves and they have to MELEE u for u to become a vampire, if u r a woodelve like me then i would advise standing there and waiting or if u r impatient u can always make/buy a demoralize disease resistence potion

Actually if u have 'shivering isles' there is an extremely rare plant that induces instant vampirism (well ok, it takes 3 game hours and its on the ps3 version)

Hey aj, I'm sorry it has been a while since I played Oblivion, I'm not quite sure where to get the SPELLS but you can get enchantments. Go into an oblivion world, I'd recommend that you be level 25 or higher, and proceed as if you were going to close the gate. Once you reach the sigil stone, dont activate it, save. Then activate it, and when it says it's been added to your inventory check it. If it does not have a reflect damage enchantment, reload the save and do it again. once you get the right stone do not use it yet!! I have found a way, through You-Tube how to dupe items if you have got a recent patch. get lots of one type of scroll. its like arrows. get at least 5 of one scroll in your inventory. then once you have them, open your inventory and press A twice on the scrolls, and then drop the stone, the rest is up to you. Have a nice day!

lets see know how much you know about oblivion canadian? i know for a fact there is a cloak that protects vamps from sunlight cos im wearing it now.

yo i need to find out how to become a vampire in the daylight cuz i always have 2 do things in the dark and my friend says that he has an item that makes it so he can go into the daylight without getting damaged and he has no reflecting gear. do u know what he has that makes he immune to daylight thats not reflection?

I saw that someone was trying to get a horse with red or flame eyes i dont know. OK if u go through the dark brotherhood quests you will get him when u finish the quest PURIFICATION.K i hope that helps

First of all... There are MANY ways to become a Vampire, for instance, The many cave in cyrodil, Vamopires inhabit almost EVERY cave!, you dotn have to do quests just to become a Vampire!!!

Well if all uz lot is gonna b tlkin bout vampirism and how 2 bcome a vampire on Oblivion, then I got 1 good tip.

I completed the game, and in one of the vampire caves, in a hidden place(no expansion packs or anything!!) there is a necklace which lets you walk in sunlight!

It called 'Sun Necklace' ad it v. useful for being a vampire, as it blocks out any damage. Also, use something for blocking fire damage, then ur basically invincible!!!

Take it into account, and by the way, 'Labour' is spelt with a 'u' (not Labor)

the sun necklace is fable and there are no propeties or objects in the game which can stop the effects of the sun on vampires. If you have oblivion on pc the best way is to use a GOD mode cheat. PS3 doesnt have cheats and im not sure about XBOX.

You can become a vampire by either contracting the disease (engaging in a fight with one) or you could talk to Vincent once you have completed a majority of the dark brotherhood quests. If you are a redguard or argonian, the only way for this is to get it from Vincent. There is no cloak or necklace which resists fire/sunlight. It's a hoax.

If you go to Talos Plaza in the Imperial City, there is a house owned by Jakben Imbel who's really a vampire. In the catacombs under his house there is always vampires who wear dwarven stuff. If you kill Jakben you can get the boots of Springheel Jak which help you jump higher.

hello freinds im zammerok known for my vampirism online im difrent from most people, alot of people wanted to know how to cure vampirism im one of the few who feal its not disedvantedge i love my gift, im notoreos becouse what isnt listed bye this site is the fith stage of vampirism thats right thers 5 not 4, 5! let me tell you how to get it. once your at level four in your vampirsm you are incredibly strong! i use this to slay my victims/people playing online at night. heres how i found fith level of vampirsm, one night i was playing oblivion i was at stage four and aboute to slay some guy who was riding his horse when i went i stubled upon a small theves camp i quitly sneaked up to them and had a look they were all sleeping all four of them! i went over quitly and fed on all of them! then whent back to the town i was close to now im not only a vampire but a master omungs theives i easly picked a very hard level lock figuring ther was going to be rich people sleeping inside when i came threw the door i was correct and they were loaded i took what they had that whas worth
taking then whent upstair to feed on the rich man who owned the house i fed on him and his wife left the building and continued off it was dawn and obeosly i couldnt stand sunlight so i went inside a motel after using the transfer stolen items speel to make sure no one would arrest me i rented a room went to sleep and awoke at exactly twelve am that night i went to the same house with the very hard lock and whent upstairs to feed on the man i noticed the wife whasent ther that night i looked at the man sumthing seemed difrent then i figured it out i had given him the dark gift when i fed on him the other night! he whas a vampire like me not a powerful one and certinaly not awar he was one either way i fed on him left the house and when back to the motel i slept for a while and i when i woke up much like the dark brotherhood a vampire whas standing before me he said he had been watching me and said i had the worst bloodlust hed ever seenhe said that when i slept next time i would be visited bye a vampire hiley skilled and so i went to sleep again

Hey everybody, I had to start over because I cured myself of vampirism with vile lair plugin and can no longer become a vampire. While I was creating my new character I did my best to make him look cool, I was pleased whith the results and rushed out to contract porphyric hemophelia, and I did, but now my guy is all wrinkly and yellow. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how I can be a vampire and still a normal skin tone and no wrinkles. I'm playing on a 360 so no mods.

1: the is not such thing as leval 5...no you cant fly like a bird..no you cant go invesible forever....no of that stuff

2:becoming a vampy is alright but just remember if you wanna buy something from a guy who is a bum and just lives out side and only sells during the day ....youll get burnt.

3:i had to sart a new account because i got cart in a dead lock......i saved in a room (was trepasing) this power mage comes out of no were and almost kills me try to run out side but the sun lite kills me ! ={ i was suck in a lock with he him killing me and sunlite frying me ! deepfried!

4:1s you become a vampire the quest for a cure (cure for vampiesim)is very long you may think oh 5 grand soul gems great got em and then like 10000 other herbs (her big shopping list)



but all in all being a vampire can be handy what with fortifyed strength...resistence to lots of stuff

just a tip if you do not wait or sleep you will not advance in vampire levels and you can go out in the sunlight I once went 26 days without drinking and was still ablito go in the sunlight so if you are annoied withe the sun DO NOT WAIT OR SLEEP

just so u all no, yes you can become a werwolf but it's a mod and i have heard it's got glitches. the cloack and necklace is a load of bull and vamparism is easy to contract is u have load of hp restore pots

oh, and lvl 5 vamps is a load of junk, ive checked, levetation went out with morrowind (elder scrolls 3)

to become a vampire you have to fight a vampire, let him hit you quite a bit (bring lots of hp potions) you will eventuall get a message saying tou have contravted a disease, when you do kill the vampire or run either works well, you then wait or rest for 3 days after that you sleep in a bed. you will get a text box when you wake up saying about how you see someone feed on a human, turns out its you thats feeding. when you close the text box you are a vampire. the vamparism disease is a common disease so all races with resist disease will be incredibly hard, to fix this get a spell that lowers disease risistance or a potion that does, the potion has to have a positive affect otherwise your charachter will smear it on his/her weapon.

ok...... if the dark brotherhood vampire guy says ur not redy, do more of his quest, when u finish the ones he gives u, he offers it. there pretty easy. also.... if u have the pc version of oblivion use the console cheat section (u open it by pressing the ~ symbol on ur keyboard) and the type in Showracemenu, this will open up the create charachter thingy u see in the very begining of the game. you then change your apperance to whatever you like, u can also change ur race from here. so thats how u fix up your ancient looking person. (i havent tried this so you might wana save ur game b4 hand otherwise it may may not work)

and werewolves are a mod that u can download if u goolge it, i tried it but it didnt work for me.

I love being a vamp and because i'm the arch mage when i need to feed i wait for the other mages to sleep and boom instant fedding. Also my healing spell kicks so i can run around in broad sun like at lvl vamp

I just became a vampire a few of days ago, my problem is that my character is starting to look uglier and uglier ... should I have fed right after receiving the dark gift and kept feeding everyday thereafter to stay slightly better-looking? there are a lot of vamps in lipsand tarn, north west of the map, plus some decent loot, i got there all the time, but ive cured vampirism anways, thank god.

to join tha Dark Brotherhood all i did wus bet on an arena match and kill someone in the spectatin area. they run out of there but they come back, so do it at tha beginnin and then itll say A higher power somethin .... n then you sleep n tha guy comes. it dont take too long to finish all tha quests from tha vampire then he offers you the Dark Gift

also you can go to the best defece and then go to the basement. in there, there is a door on the floor that leads to the sewers. then find your way to under the bloodworks. There are many vamps down there. im sure if you let them hit u a few times you will contract the disease.

the two worst races to become a vampire on are argonian and Wood elf. This is because of there resist deseise power and it will take longer to become a vampire.

You can also become a vampire just by sleeping in a bed @ night , The game has a very small random chance visit from a feeding vampire , that you relize the next morning with the dream message . If you dont want to stay a vampire visit a church or chaple and do cure quest . This is how I first became a oblivion vampire in the game. You can also use console and type a command to ( COC ToddTest ) or something to that affect and there is a shrine you can click on to get full vamprism , if you want to cheat it .

if u want to become a vampire but hate getting killed ur hurt by a ball of fire just go to the dark brother hood (if u have joined them if not do ) then go into vicentes ( the vampire guy who can also make u a vampire by asking u if u want the dark gift ) chest or barrel or something in his room there should be a bottle of human blood get it but dont drink it straight away now u get about 100 arows or 200 i would reccomend and do a duplication trick ( if u dont know how to do this add me on msn at demaster000@hotmail.com ) then wen u have 200 bottles u can drink some instead of sneaking round sucking on peoples necks

i am in major trouble..... i need help!!! ok. what i did was accept the vampire infection from vincente and then when i woke up i was a vampire and i was playing for a long lng time and i wanted my own layer..... my brother went online and bought deepscorn hallow for the xbox oblivion.. so i got everything for it which took a long time and i saved my game.... then i went to the one room where you can heal vampirism and i healed myself just to se if it would work...i was stupid and i ended up and saved my data ( i thought i was saving over AUTOSAVE) and then when i went to load my game when i was a vampire... it was my cure saved data and i coudlnt find my vampire data..... can i still get vampireism again??!!! Will it work if i try to kill vampires and sleep or am i screwed?????

when contracting vampirism use it to have fun. Remember you are no longer human, yet you blend it so well (providing you feed every 24 hours) use this blending to your ability to flirt, seduce and trick your prey, come on enjoy it, don't shun it or go all "my face is like my grandads" LOL ;P

I found "human blood" in vincette's chest, and was wonder if that has the same effect that feeding on people does.

I became a complete vampire and killed everyone on Cyrodiil... I'm on lvl 74 because all that. All the town guards somehow keep on coming back everytime i kill them. the only people left alive are the Counts and Countesses, The High Elf in the imperial city, me and all the other people with the crown over their heads.. And if you wanna know how I killed everyone, i keep on using strong health potions by hotkey.
I can have loads of health potions by using the multiplying cheat..

(Buy about 50 scrolls, press X on them for about 10 times and drop the item you want to multiply. If you multiply big items like axes or swords by a big amount, the game will overload but it wont break the CD)

i also enchanted all my weapons.

hey im a vamp(for ps3)(it has to be the game of the year edition, elder scrolls iv) you have to find a broken down fort directly south of chorrol. keep going till you get to a fort that pops up on your screen as fort carmala.then you go in, fight one of the vamps, you can be in the middle of a fight and get the virus(it says the name of the virus in the right hand corner so look) or just kill them( or her/him). then you wait 3 days, or just wait for 24 hours 3 times in a row, then you find a hotel,inn,(if you wait it wont work you HAVE to sleep) and sleep for however long. you can sleep for one hour if you want. when you wake up a note should pop up saying you had a dream. then you are officially a vampire.this is how i got it. more and more you become one, everyone will want to stay away from you. and the easiest people to feed on are beggars.

well to be a vampire the best thing for you to do is like either attack a vampire in a cave or get the dark gift from the dude in darkbrotherhood mission and there caves are everywhere just go searching around the wilderness and you will come across a cave sooner or later and the only downside is the sun. like just don't sleep and wait and you can stay at level 1 vampire forever without the downside of lvl 2/3/4

dude half of the comments i see are people wanting to become real vampires in the real life im like wtf. heres one comment (i would love to become a vampire but i don't know any to bite me if you could i would love to know but make it gentle i don't want it to be painfull.)

If you want to be a vampire but had god mode on when accepting the "Dark Gift", or are not in the Dark Brotherhood I can tell you where a nest is. On the way to Cheydinall there will eventually be a side road going up some stairs.Follow it and go into the cave at the top. It's teaming with Vampires.Have fun!

just a suggestion, if you're annoyed by the sun and you play pc, use god mode- press ~ and type tgm

I was former vampire but it is one way to avoid damage of sun is greatly increase damaga, etc relfections and big fire resistance to counter weakness, if you have 100% weakness which if you replace it with 100% resistance, which it turns to zero.

So its pretty effective. Only it works when you get black soul gems or grand soul gems with enhancting on any armor etc

HI I started the game and found myself walking round as a man so i went to become a vampire is got the flue thing and the and went to sleep for a while the now when i feed(i recomend feeding every 2 weeks or if you want to go out in the sun 1 time a day)my guy stays ok but my m8 said dont feed for weeks the a found my dude with fangs and a white face and red eyes so now i go out at night and just suck the life out of every one thing :)

A guild on oblivion for vamps is a FAQ but i no weres the a group/club (not a guild) is you go east west of morrowind and you look around and you will find a cave with a door some one says :whats the codex: reply with vampire and the door opens and you walking and find a group of about 4 vamps talk to them and they reply with join us round the back is a dogey cage with a man in and you can feed on him when hes AWAKE he screms and stuff it cool :)

TIP: To feed on awake people juring night on 360 go up to them and attck and jump and he flys at them and sucks:) (not sure it works beacuse i was told by a plughole i know) ;:;)))

Oh man! I contracted the disease doing the Vampire hunting quest and didn't think of it because it wasn't hurting me and I didn't know what it was. I dungeon dove and stuff for a few days and now I have the vampire abilites!!! NOOOOOOO!

Heey well on my pc version of oblivion i become a vampire on my female charater, but then when i load up this game again, my vampire sticks with a female body, but then gets a male head. i tried doing sex change cheat, but this takes my head COMPLETLY has any one had this problem and can help???

You can find them at Barren Cave thats near Cheydinhal Blood crustcave Near Skingrad Castle follow the road Crowhaven but you can only go in their if you do the quest named Origin of the gray prince or if you're lazy click on the door and type the cheat unlock. Any way hope you find em and get it contracted Have fun and take care.
