I saw “The Last Samurai” last night and it was great! Go check it out when you get the chance. It'll be out December 5th. If you're a fan of anything Japanese, this will definitely be one to own.

I really want to see this movie - I'm an on again/off again fan of Tom Cruise, but when he's good, he's great.

The topic, based on the trailers, looks really cool as well, so I'm releived that it's looking okay.

Now - if only I could convince my wife to go see it....

Umm...tell her that it's a love story :-) I don't know if you'll be able to get away with it, but Tom Cruise's character does fall in love with a woman he meets. It's a stretch, but it might work. I don't know your wife, but I think most people would like the movie. It's not all about war, though. There is a good story behind it all that can make you think a little. Good luck!

I really like the movie a lot. Tom C. did an awesome job I think. Now I'm interested in the Samurai and stuff. I have a samurai practice sword!!!
