Last night's party!

Last night I attended the MSDN/AW PDC party. It was on top of some hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Don Box and band (Band on the Runtime) played quite the set for a good length of time. The party was on an open terrace and it was quite a fun time. Thanks Stacey for setting this all up. There were a number of INETA folks at the party as we all had a good time. THOUGH - Amy came over and had heard my name mentioned with the word “pool” and asked me to give her all my pocket electronics. Gave them over and about 20 minutes later I got a visit from Donny Mack and Doug Seven who grabbed me and threw me in. THOUGH - I was able to get my hands on Doug's belt and pulled him in with me - though Donny slipped away. Oh well. Doug had his phone ruined - SORRY DOUG!

Bill Evjen and Doug Seven

The next morning (today), I basically had NO shoes and called a few of my friends for a pair ... I am like the only one with 10 1/2 size shoes so that didn't all work out ... but DAVE NODERER THE GREAT went down to the Rite-Aid and bought be a pair of $6 slippers. So today I look like I am lounging at PDC in my slippers ... rather nice.

Well, I got a new phone (apparently, while swimming is fun for people, it is not fun for phones). DotNetJunkies switched to T-Mobile (Sprint sucks). Mack and I both got new phones - its my own fault for pushing you in...but Donny never got wet - perhaps some revenge will have to be exacted on him at TechEd 2004.

The newest feature of T-Mobile seems to be the insipid ring tones that haunted us for the rest of PDC Week.

I am STILL whistling Donny Mack's ring tone and it is nearly a week later...
