So little time in the day

There is so little time in the day I haven't been able to update my blog. Does that make me a bad blogger? I have been M.I.A., because I have been working on the eDrawing project for my company. It finally done and I think has been well received. The project will reduce much of the overhead of having to go get paper copies of engineering documents and hopefully increase collaboration between engineering departments.. The documents will be scanned, validated against ERP(using the eDrawing Validator), and then stored in Sharepoint. . The eDrawing Validator was written by me. It  uses dual monitors one for data entry and the other for TIFF editing and viewing, this screen if very similar to the one the Office provides for you when viewing TIFFs.   By using Sharepoint we have the ability to do versioning and to quick searches to find the data.

We could use a LCD or a plasma as it will always just split the screen into two, but the cost justification really couldn't be made. It just has a high coolness factor. Not that it doesn't already.
