My girlfriend's dad's birthday is coming up. He loves his gadgets. After much discussion, a digital picture frame was purchased. It was a Ziga. 
After opening it up, I was surprised with the packaging, it is indestructible 
. It was really nicely done, as it turns out you don't have break the packaging it just slides out on the side. We purchased a SD memory card and filled with with photos for him. The picture frame also does movies and plays MP3's. It has a few different options but we turned it to automatically start a slideshow so that way he would see it when he turned it on. It does some nice transitioning between photos and lets you choose what kind of transitioning you want.

Overall: I liked the concept. Would be nice to be able to run on batteries. Wish it had a USB connection so that I didn't have to have a card reader or use my camera.
