I am in Biztalk 2004 training for the week. I might have some good stuff later in the week on this, but dont get excited. The plane ride into San Jose was nice and being able to tour San Fran for all of Sunday was very nice
I have been really busy at work over the last few days. I have been reverse engineering how to work with these dumb terminals we have. Here is a picture of one: Currently we have a C program that was written internal and released, as far as I can tell, in 1999. They finally want to move away from the old system to a new one. The only problem is they want the new system to be compatible with the dumb terminals, to save money. So I have spent the last few day figuring the system out. For anyone that...
My two day class went really well. With little less than 24 hour to prepare in, I think I did a good job. I even taught the move experienced guys in the group a thing or two. I enjoyed the experience and hopefully will have the opportunity to talk at other venues. In about six weeks I will be able to do a more advanced course for the group. Thanks to all the people out there that gave me encouragement

I was asked yesterday by my boss to teach a 2 day course on .NET for the group. The two day class starts today. Wish my luck I am a little nervous. Oh well I guess this is my first step in accomplishing my goal of giving presentations for INETA or at TechEd

Isnt it sad when you know more than the domain admins? As of this morning, I have to help them upgrade thier helpdesk software. Come on its and executable. And I already had to fix up a one of the higher ups laptop so that it could connect to the WLAN without any problems. Come on its not that hard. Going to get some coffee
Portillo is the best ski resort I have ever been to! It was incredible. I was sking in deep powder all week long. I will be posting more about it later when I get my pictures back. I thought today would be a super busy day at work but my computer just crashed. It wont go back into Windows XP oh well time to go find the laptop support person
