Just to impart some experience, by default the Virtual Server 2005 installation makes a link available for you to administer Virtual Server on the "Installation Summary". Well smarty-pants me decided to use http://localhost instead of http://[machine-name] to try to log in to the virtual server console. For whatever reason, http://localhost/VirtualSer... doesn't work but replacing localhost with the loopback address [127.0.0.1] seems to make it work... http://127.0.0.1/VirtualSer...
